Artifact:
The artifact I'm the most proud of would have to be the second artifact, it was based on conflict. I chose the illustrated/framed found poem which means that I had to look up the most meaningful quotes that stopped out to them and use key words to create a poem that made sense and really showed the main conflict or one of the main conflicts to me. I am the most proud of this artifact because I didn't understand what the prompt really meant until later but I just put some quotes in, I thought it was great because I loved the quotes I chose but then it was brought to my attention that it wasn't done correctly. I got the opportunity to do it again and was really stuck, I'm not very good at poetry and I'm pretty sure the only poem I've ever actually written is the "I Am" poem. I looked up many poem outlines or poem ideas until I finally came across one that I really liked because of the "before/after" kind of theme and thought it'd be perfect to show how the main character of my book, Amir, had changed due to the many events in his life. I was very pleased with the end product and was proud of the fact that I actually went back in and made the words flow as much as possible and it ended up really being a poem.

Literature Letter:
The literature letter I'm the most proud of would have to be the first one because it was just an introduction to the book and gave me a chance to reflect on my reading past and present. This literature letter really let me realize how much I've been slacking on reading and how much I used to love it, even though I'm pretty picky when it comes to books. I don't like all books because I don't get very interested and it takes a very good summary or first couple of pages to intrigue me even though I know most books don't have the most fast forward starts. Also, I saw that even with this book, The Kite Runner, it was a bit boring at the beginning for me personally and I was pretty bland about the book as a whole during this time and I was taking it as an assignment. Looking back, I can say it was a great book and I'm glad that I actually gave it a chance instead of shutting it out completely.
